Abstract: In the present study an attempt has been made on physico-chemical characteristics of Varaha reservoir, located in Kalyanapulova, Ravikamatam mandal, Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. Reservoirs, the most important freshwater resource, have the potential to substantially augment the inland fish production of the country.
