Abstract:
Agrallaspis polyalthiae (n.sp.) collected from leaves of ashoka tree Polyalthia longifolia from Raja Balwant Singh College, Agra. It is described as new species of armoured scale insect (Homoptera: Diaspididae). Its distribution is mainly in northern India known to cause underneath scale of chlorotic effect on leaves. Its host perennial tree has economic significant in the world.
