Abstract:
Chronic effects of Phosphamidon pesticide on freshwater fish
Labeo rohita for 15 days exposure were analyzed. Decreased RBC, WBC count and Haemoglobin level in experimental group than control. Increased Total Free sugars (TFS) and Total cholesterol (TC) level & decreased Total protein (TP) level were observed in experimental group. Decreased TFS and TP where increased TC level observed in liver and muscle tissues of experimental group than control. There is a need of complete eradication of using Phosphamidon pesticides in agricultural farms.
