The present study was conducted in Turmeric fields at Dharoor, situated on the Northern part of Telangana State (Latitude at 18o 261 and 18.8” N and Longitude at 79o71 and 43.83” E Jagtiyal to know the influence of weather parameters on seasonal abundance of arthropods. The average monthly temperature in 2017 and 2018 was 30.27 °C, with maximums in May and April. Monthly rainfall ranged from 3.08 to 353 mm, with maximums in July and December. Relative humidity levels were highest in May and lowest in September. Soil moisture content was higher in the top layer, and decomposing organisms facilitated organic matter transfer. Soil characteristics were favorable for most crops, with low salinity and neutral pH, low organic matter content, and adequate nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium levels. Arthropod abundance remained stable from May to June, with no strong link between temperature, rainfall, and humidity.
